Feeling "Elegy for the flesh", the single move you made, I felt a strong influence of Suffocation how much weight you had for this band?
Oh well I take that as a compliment since the Suffocation are my favorites and I consider them the masters of the genre in the process of composition although we try to avoid too obvious a reference to the bands that we like but it is almost impossible not to mention those that the genre was invented.
Speaking of your new work as it has been working with Stefano Morabito and in his 16th Cellar Studios?
E 'was an incredible experience, record them for years was a dream of mine, most of the bands that play and have a kick ass sound and showed them to be afraid, just think of the Apocalypse or Fleshgod Hour Of Penance. I saw the study as a Morrisound Italian Stefano as a new and Scott Burns. And in fact the same for me and now I have confirmation Stefano Morabito is a large, has a great expertise and specializes in the genre. It is not a simple thing, you find many that are good and competent but do not have specific knowledge of death metal.
What about the artwork as the choice fell on Par Olofsson?
For us who come from Sardinia was a big sacrifice but it was worth it. Par see here was another dream, the choice was between Dan Seagrave but it is practically impossible, John Zig, Mark Hassman and Par Olofsson. We could draw lots because they are artists allucinanti.Par has a very natural style, like a painting, his works seem made photoshop.Alla end, we contacted and proved to be extremely available and very professional, he sent me the proofs and continuous updates and accommodate our requests.
And I would say that the result was more than excellent ... really excellent
Anyway, from his works to be the best to mix organic and biomechanics of the artwork for the idea that we are glad you like it when we saw the finished work we drop the jaw before I worked I of these things but there is no comparison, I now do only what is the boundary, the booklet on myspace etc.. etc..
allla music back what has changed in "Elegy for the flesh" than previous works can expect something new?
The new album is a clean break with the past. Inscribed in the previous demo scars victims was the first with the new line and is served by running for what we are doing now. Before the Natrium were a old school death metal with thrash influences, now the speed and brutality are much higher. In Elegy for the flesh there are some 8-track "ignorant" as the single most articulate and various others. We do not think you necessarily have to go to throttle the entire disk, there is room to spare and emerge slowly and suffered a bit of melody.
because the change of line up has affected your sound?
In practice the original lineup since 2001 were only the founders Andrew and Edward Wall, guitarist and drummer. Me and Alex Locci, the other guitarist, we arrived in 2008. I sing brutal death by 94, I have always done while listening to really just kind of all, Alex has experience different from classical to thrash metal with plenty of desire to play heavier stuff. In each phase of composition makes its contribution, there are ideas and the hard riffs of all, we are a band with a single composer. In the end we like the brutal death of the larger groups by Suffocation Cannibal Corpse to the Deeds of Flesh, but also stuff like Cynic, Death and Meshuggah. I am a patient of Italian 70's progressive jazz and Frank Zappa, we seek to experience being in the genre that is still brutal death.
You are in Sardinia assuming he must be able to have an easy live outside the island past experiences and especially plans for the future?
This unfortunately is not easy. We must make big sacrifices.
In the past we did a couple of dates in the UK and it was great to be able to play them without the support of organizations or agencies esterne.Anche the job can be a problem, but if you do a tour will be important one more effort to play only in Sardinia is not enough places to play and here are falling, we will try to get around as much as possible so a lot of dates in the "continent" This winter, we are organizing.

regard to Sardinia Do you want what I say about the metal scene Sardinian? And the Italian death scene?
Here are very good bands and musicians really strong, such as Simone Piras drummer who is now in the Hour of Penance. There are groups like Deathcrush, Mutilated the soul that are afraid of death metal and even the young Demons Bridge or ill brain. Unfortunately, the lack of space and the difficulties many have made life difficult but now fortunately Internet and other ways to make themselves known to the "my time" were crates ahuhauhuaa

The Italian death metal scene is experiencing the best time I remember in the past we've been very strong as the band Electrocution of which are big fan, now there are many, the Hour of Penance, the Septycal Gorge, the Fleshgod Apocalypse, Vomit The Soul .... continue indefinitely. I am glad that these bands have the success they deserve and that they are enforcing abroad.
