Genre: Death
Output: 2009 / Downfall Records
Type: Full -length
Important notice: If you are faint of heart or weak anal sphincters have not heard this record ... Otherwise you will certainly be victims of infarction or rectal prolapse! The Eyeconoclast, engaged in a melodic death / thrash metal wild (or Binary Death / Thrash metal are used as defined), they literally baked a devastating sonic assault!
There is no room for " piri piri piri "by guitar heroes, nor for orchestral suites from 20 minutes each ...
The 5 Roman gangster want to inflame the muscles of the neck and destroy the auditory system, which targets were achieved without any doubt with 10 tracks of high levels of violence and adrenaline! No respite from up tempos, blast beats, breakdowns, brutal vocals riffoni napalm ... all peppered with apocalyptic atmosphere and at the same time claustrophobic!
fomentanti So many moments of "Unassigned Death Chapter" (especially the chorus and the ex-singer of "Hexadecimate" they sent me the brain haywire!), Very few flaws ... Just a couple of times which the group's songwriting is a little jammed, but they are minor things that did not compromise the excellent work done by Eyeconoclast! These guys have technical skills / executive monster (no exceptions) and are just as meticulous in composition phase since all the songs are extremely smart in terms of structure, qualities that I consider very important as it is rare in a band! Another point in favor of the Roman Empire is the great sound production by the Stefano "Saul" Morabito
(a guru of music production in the field of extreme metal and one of the guitarists of Eyeconoclast) that stands out very well all the tools and gives his valuable contribution for the environmental impact! In conclusion, if you are lovers of melodic death metal (or extreme metal, do not worry you will not find anything sugary or smarmellato!) no frills, high- absolutely have to listen to this record speed, I'm sure you'll appreciate it very much and will be a most welcome in the most disparate background!
