Review: Ancient Dome - Perception of This World

Genre: Thrash

Output: 2010 / Punishment 18 Records

type: Full-length
After the excellent
Stillness Blade for me here is another way out license plate Punishment 18 Records. Honestly: not reviewed a disc of heavy / thrash for a long time (despite his youth hangs out for a long time in the webzine) and the Ancient Dome made me rediscover this genre back in time. As mentioned earlier the kind played by the young Lombard is derived directly from the 80's thrash with a few appearances in the classic metal (you can see much influence in some maiden riff). Nothing to say on the execution, Our know how to do and show a considerable baggage, Paul's voice is powerful and above all perfectly in tune with Amalga and other instruments. The parties to pull and more thrash reminded me of early Metallica and a note of credit goes to the full-length songs that have impressed me a lot with those formed by intro hypnotic arpeggios. And "Confused Certainty" which, in my opinion, is the centerpiece of the lot, showing all sides of how to write a heavy metal song. Of interest are the two instrumental tracks. The only flaw is that something that could be "heard" but it's better not to care and enjoy this beautiful work.
